Existing MEM-000001 style numbers are temporary references.
Members can be recorded immediately. Their records are preserved and the numbers are converted only after the church reviews and activates official numbering.
Configure Official Member Numbers
One prefix applies to the whole church. The main church always uses branch code 01, and ChurchCoor generates a five-digit sequence for each member.
Numbering Configuration
Save the church prefix as a draft before reviewing any member-number conversion.
Use 2–10 letters or numbers. Spaces and symbols are removed automatically.
Code 01 is permanently reserved for the main church.
The system assigns the next number; administrators cannot type it.

How branch numbering works
When an administrator registers a branch, they assign an unused two-digit code from 02 to 99. Each branch starts its own member sequence at 00001. Numbers are never reused.
